TED Talks: Eat to starve cancer
Monday, May 24, 2010
I love TED Talks. Every one that I've ever watched has been so interesting, this one included. It is about 20 minutes long but completely worth the time.
Description from the TED website:
William Li presents a new way to think about treating cancer and other diseases: anti-angiogenesis, preventing the growth of blood vessels that feed a tumor. The crucial first (and best) step: Eating cancer-fighting foods that cut off the supply lines and beat cancer at its own game.
