Om Shanti Mala

It has been quite awhile since I have written in this space. The routines of life have a way of eating up time for writing and reflecting and creating. In the gap, I have changed. My life has changed. My people have grown and changed too. I have learned to stop forcing things on myself and to better care for my body in nurturing rather than challenging ways.

One of my most favorite feelings in life is the peaceful grounded satisfaction I have after a yoga class. To that, I have added meditation and found it to be a valuable remedy when the tide threatens to overtake my sanity.

I recently received a request to review a jewelry collection designed to inspire a yogic way of life. While I haven’t accepted offers to sample and/or review products recently, this collection was so lovely I had to share!

Om Shanti Mala creates yoga and meditation jewelry from malas intended for use in meditation (see more on that here) to yoga inspired jewelry for everyday wear.

I received the Green Aventurine Om Bracelet:

om shanti aventurine

About the stones from Om Shanti MalaGreen Aventurine is known as the “Stone of Opportunity,” thought to be the luckiest of all crystals, especially in manifesting prosperity and wealth. This stone is not merely an attractor of luck, but one that aligns conditions so “opportunity” is inevitable. Green Aventurine releases old patterns, habits and disappointments so new growth can take place. It brings optimism and a zest for life, allowing one to move forward with confidence and to embrace change.

I also received the Amazonite Mala:

om shanti amazonite

About the stones from Om Shanti MalaCalled the Stone of Courage and the Stone of Truth, Amazonite empowers one to search the self and discover one’s own truths and integrity, and to move beyond fear of judgment or confrontation with others to live in alignment with those beliefs and values. It provides the freedom to express one’s thoughts and feelings, and to set strong and clear boundaries, both internally as self-discipline, and externally on what one is willing to experience or in defining personal space.

These pieces are lovely and I think you will enjoy them (and others) too!

Please stop by the Om Shanti website and take a look around!

Note: I received free products for the purpose of this review however all opinions are honest and my own.
